The Weber School District Elementary School Prototype is an innovative next-gen learning environment featuring kindergarten through 6th grade with a special education cluster. It is a compact two-level school, organized around grade level learning communities, with visibility between levels to improve supervision and create a sense of school unity. The main commons features a learning stair for multiple classes to gather, to listen to instruction, host guest teachers and student presentations. Spread throughout the school, imagination station nooks create a fun place for students to study and think. A dedicated STEM lab, maker space and resource rooms support 21st Century learning activities.
